Duelly is operated as an independent project under the Play Duelly domain. For privacy questions, account requests or support, contact us at privacy@playduelly.com or support@playduelly.com.

2. Information we collect

Depending on how you use Duelly, we may collect and process:

• Account information, such as email address, user ID and authentication status.
• Profile information, such as username, display name, avatar, short biography, country and city.
• Gameplay information, such as matches, answers, response times, scores, rankings, ratings and training statistics.
• Competitive and social interactions, such as direct challenges, Queue Assist invitations and player availability state.
• Support reports sent through the app, including the message, report type, screen context and related match or player identifiers when provided.
• Technical and product analytics, such as app version, platform, language, country, screen views, button actions and product events.
• Security and operational records needed to keep the app reliable, fair and protected against abuse.

3. How we use information

We use information to:

• Create and manage user accounts.
• Provide training, ranked matches, challenges, Queue Assist, rankings and player profiles.
• Calculate scores, statistics, ratings and leaderboards.
• Improve app reliability, usability, localization and gameplay balance.
• Respond to support reports, bug reports and user requests.
• Protect the integrity of the game and prevent abuse, spam or unfair behavior.
• Comply with legal, security and platform requirements.

4. Public profile and gameplay information

Duelly is a competitive and social game. Your public profile, display name, avatar, country/city if provided, rankings, ratings, match outcomes and certain statistics may be shown to other players as part of the game experience.

Do not add sensitive personal information to your username, display name, biography or avatar.

5. Avatars and user-generated content

If you upload a profile photo or write a biography, this content may be displayed in your profile and gameplay/ranking screens. Do not upload content that you do not have the right to use or that violates the rights of others.

6. Support reports

If you send a report, suggestion or support request through Duelly, we may store the message, related screen, app version, platform and related gameplay/profile identifiers when provided. We use this information to review issues, respond to requests and improve the product.

7. Analytics and product events

Duelly may collect product and usage events, such as screen views, button actions, gameplay events, session information, language, country and app version. We use this information to understand reliability, user experience, localization, gameplay flow and product quality.

8. Storage and service providers

Duelly uses Supabase for backend services such as authentication, database, storage and server-side functions. Profile avatars and gameplay/account data may be stored in Supabase. We may also use services such as Expo/EAS, Cloudflare, GitHub and email providers to operate, deploy, secure and support the app and website.

9. Sharing of information

We do not sell your personal information. We may share information with service providers that help us operate Duelly, or when required by law, platform rules, security needs, fraud prevention or abuse investigation.

10. Payments and monetization

Duelly does not currently process payments in the app during internal testing. If paid features, subscriptions or other monetization features are introduced later, this policy may be updated before those features are made available.

11. Data retention

We keep information for as long as needed to operate Duelly, maintain gameplay history, rankings, account integrity, support records and legal/security records. Some gameplay records may be retained to preserve competitive history and prevent abuse.

12. Account and data requests

You may contact us to request access, correction, deletion or review of your personal information. Some deletion requests may be limited where data is needed for security, legal compliance, dispute resolution, fraud prevention or preserving fair competitive records.

13. Children

Duelly is a general-audience knowledge game and is not specifically directed to children. Children may use Duelly only with appropriate parental or guardian permission and supervision, where required by applicable law. 14. Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect information, including backend access controls and platform security features. No system is completely secure, but we work to reduce risks and improve protection over time.

15. International use

Duelly is designed as a global product. Information may be processed using cloud service providers and infrastructure that can operate across different regions, subject to their security and compliance practices.

16. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy as Duelly evolves. If changes are significant, we may provide notice through the app, website or other appropriate channels.
